Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Candle Structure Labs, the operator of candlestructurelabs.com. By visiting the site, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
2. The service
Candle Structure Labs is a browser-based trading-education platform. It includes the Market Structure academy (an 18-phase interactive course with quizzes, drills, a Trading Terms glossary, spaced-repetition reviews, and Mindset lessons), The Floor — a trading simulator, a simulated Prop Challenge evaluation, an AI coach that gives automated educational feedback on simulated trades, and an optional Kids Mode add-on that re-explains concepts in kid-friendly language for family use under an adult’s account.
To be completely clear: we are not a brokerage. The Floor places no real orders, connects to no exchange, and uses no real money. Its Live mode shows delayed third-party market data, clearly labeled as such. Nothing you do on the platform reaches a real market. Please also read our Risk Disclosure — it explains what a simulator can and cannot teach you about real trading.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription. Minors may use the service only with a parent’s consent and supervision, and Kids Mode is designed to be used under a parent’s account. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Sign-in is optional and handled through Whop OAuth. If you sign in, provide accurate information, keep your account to yourself, and tell us if you believe someone else has accessed it. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions & billing
All payments are processed by Whop (whop.com), which handles checkout, billing, subscription management, and cancellation through your Whop account. Candle Structure Labs never sees or stores your card details. Current tiers:

- Founding Member — $10/month
- Standard — $20/month
- Lifetime — $149 one-time
- Kids Mode add-on — $5/month
Monthly subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime through your Whop account and keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If we change prices, we’ll give reasonable advance notice and the new price will apply only from your next renewal — never retroactively. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
5. Your license
When you subscribe, we grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use the platform and its content for your own learning (and your family’s, in the case of Kids Mode). That license does not allow you to share your account, resell access, scrape the site, copy, republish, or redistribute premium content, or build courses or products from our material. We can revoke the license if these Terms are breached.
6. Acceptable use
Our Code of Conduct is part of these Terms and describes the behavior we expect. In addition, you agree not to bypass access controls or paywalls, probe or disrupt the service, use bots or automated tools to access content, or misuse the AI coach or simulator in ways that harm the service or other users.
7. Intellectual property
The platform — courses, quizzes, drills, the glossary, the simulator, the AI coach’s output, the design, code, and the Candle Structure Labs name and logo — belongs to Candle Structure Labs or its licensors. Delayed market data shown in Live mode belongs to its third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of it to you.
8. Educational purpose & no financial advice
Candle Structure Labs is educational only. Nothing on the platform — lessons, drills, simulator results, Prop Challenge outcomes, or AI coach feedback — is financial advice, an investment recommendation, or a trading signal. We provide no brokerage or money-management services and make no guarantees of trading profits, funded accounts, or any financial outcome. Simulated performance does not predict real results. Any decision you make with real money is yours alone — if you need advice, talk to a licensed financial professional.
9. No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep it accurate and online, but we don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that delayed market data or AI-generated feedback will always be complete or correct.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Candle Structure Labs’ total liability for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. And because no real trading occurs on the platform (see Section 2), we are never liable for trading losses — any real-money trading you do happens elsewhere, on your own judgment and at your own risk. Where the law does not allow some of these limits, they apply to the maximum extent it does allow.
11. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time and cancel through Whop. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms — for example, account sharing, redistributing premium content, or serious Code of Conduct violations. Sections that by their nature should survive (license restrictions, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) survive termination.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we’ll give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the laws of the state in which Candle Structure Labs’ operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
